18"  Split-Ring Newtonian  - a new addition to Indian Hill

CVAS member Ian Cooper has very generously donated his 18” NGT Split-Ring Newtonian to Indian Hill.

• Ken Fisher and Marty Mullet have been very busy determining the best location for this very large telescope.   The current thinking is right off the terrace between the Main Building and the Dome.

• The plan is to erect a 16x16 foot deck, with a “roll-back” building to house the telescope.

• Construction is scheduled to begin late this spring / early summer.
